Bitter Hillary Goes off on President Trump During College Commencement

Hillary Clinton assailed President Trump during a commencement speech at Hunter College, referencing the Mueller press conference, asserting the nation is “witnessing an assault on the rule of law,” fantasizing about the title of “Madame President,” and comparing today’s political climate to some Americans’ support of Nazi Germany.

Why any of these comments would be considered solid material for a graduating class about to enter the real world is anybody’s guess. Why they’d listen to a two-time presidential failure – also anybody’s guess.

Rather than motivate, a clearly bitter Hillary addressed Mueller’s statements and complained about the administration failing to take “even the most basic steps to protect our voting systems.”

“Just today, before this graduation ceremony started, we heard from the special counsel, Robert Mueller, who said there were multiple systemic efforts to interfere in our election, and that allegation deserves the attention of every American,” Clinton reported as though students are incapable of finding current events online.

“But what we’ve seen from the administration is the complete refusal to condemn a foreign power who attacked our democracy or to take even the most basic steps to protect our voting systems for the future,” she added.

Is Hillary referring to the Obama administration? The one who ignored threats of Russian interference during the 2016 election? The one who issued a “stand down” order when officials attempted to thwart the Russian interference?

It Gets Worse

Clinton was just getting warmed up with her degree in BS.

“There may not be tanks in our streets, but make no mistake, we are witnessing an assault on the rule of law and the foundations of our democracy,” she said of the Trump era.

Clinton then urged students to seek out different forms of information, alleging that the White House is delivering little more than “lies and propaganda.”

Yes, she actually said that. The same woman who told the American people that the terrorist attack in Benghazi was the result of an unheard of YouTube video, wants you to believe this administration is a propaganda outlet.

It Gets A Lot Worse

Clinton compared Trump supporters to Nazi sympathizers in the 1930s. We wish that were a joke, but there’s really no other way to interpret her comments about rallies in support of the Nazis and the immediate segway into “all these years later.”

“I thought about an event that happened here 80 years ago on February 20th, 1939,” she told the graduates. “When instead of the  inspirational stories we heard this arena was filled with 20,000 chanting stomping Americans rallying in support of Nazi Germany.”

Clinton continued, “I wish that felt like ancient history, after all it would have made those Nazis so furious to see all of us here and to look out at your faces in the same Hall where fascists once planted their flag.”

“We [America] have never been perfect, but we have never stopped striving for a more perfect union,” Clinton said. “And yet all these years later our democracy feels far from secure.”

Fox News reported that Clinton was describing “the current political and social climate as reminiscent of some Americans’ support for Nazi Germany and Jewish persecution in 1939.”

The Trump campaign responded, with spokeswoman Erin Perrine explaining “Trump Derangement Syndrome is real and, in Hillary’s case, apparently chronic.”
