Bill Clinton Says If Trump Loses He Will Be ‘Stacking Sandbags’ To Stay In White House

Former President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary Rodham Clinton warned during an interview on Wednesday that President Donald Trump will not accept defeat if he loses the election and will take drastic measures to stay in the White House.

Hillary told American Urban Radio Washington Bureau Chief April Ryan that Democrat Joe Biden should not concede on election night because Republicans will play unfair, and her husband Bill suggested that Trump will reinforce the White House to keep from leaving on Biden’s Inauguration Day.

“Do not concede under any circumstance because I believe the other side is going to cheat and sneak and try everything they possibly can,” said Hillary in the Instagram broadcast interview.

Bill Clinton added, “He probably won’t even come to Biden’s inauguration. He’ll be stacking sandbags around in the White House.”

As polls show the race tightening in the last two months of the 2020 presidential election, a number of Democrats have said they believe Trump won’t leave the White House even if he loses the race.

Bill Clinton continued this line of attack during their interview on Wednesday.

“It’s very important to keep in mind that beneath all these big questions you are asking are just Donald Trump’s proven ability to manipulate the psyche of the people that he is trying to scare the hell out of,” Clinton told host Ryan. “Now, this is a person who says, ‘OK, I can’t win on my own, but people will believe whatever I tell them as long as it’s bad.”

The former president added, “He cannot help who he is. He is who he is. He believes we’re suckers. He believes he can say anything and make it work. He believes he can do anything and no one will stop [him].”

Hillary continued her husband’s thoughts, saying, “He is a clear and present danger to our freedoms, our liberties, our unity, and we’ve got to defeat him. There is no alternative.”
