An upcoming virtual discussion on the empowerment of women and girls being co-hosted by Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Bill Clinton is being heavily lambasted and criticized by two of the women who had accused Clinton in the past of sexual crimes.

In interviews with The Daily Caller News Foundation on Wednesday, Juanita Broaddrick and Leslie Millwee called out Democrats and the “Me too” movement for ignoring their allegations against Clinton.

They also questioned why Vice President Harris would give Clinton a platform for this kind of discussion.

Backlash Coming From Many Places

For Juanita Broaddrick, who accuses Clinton of assaulting her in 1978, her alleged experience with Clinton is still a very open wound.

In her interview with the DNCF, she says that every time the Democrats give Clinton a chance to speak publicly, “it’s like somebody just slapping you in the face and saying ‘you don’t matter.'”

Broaddrick stated, “Oh my God, here we go again. When are people going to understand what this man is?” She added, “I think they understand. It’s just against their political affiliation.”

Leslie Millwee was a reporter at a TV station in Arkansas when she first encountered Bill Clinton. She claimed that on several occasions, he followed her into a small editing room and assaulted her.

Millwee says that she did not report the incidents to authorities because Clinton was the Governor of Arkansas at the time and worried what would happen to her if she did.

Of Friday’s event with Harris and Clinton Millwee says Clinton has a “history of abusing, raping and sexually assaulting women. And he is going to get up on a stage and tell us about how to be empowered?”

“I truly can’t think of anything more brazen. I think this goes to show you the political power that the Clintons still have. It’s just such an upset upside down world when you have a rapist and a sexual assaulter who is giving tips and information to try and help empower women, I can’t think of anything more ludicrous than that.”

Outspoken actress Rose McGowan also came out swinging over Clinton’s appearance at the event.

McGowan, who was one of Hollywood Mogul Harvey Weinstein’s first accusers, called out the Vice President for her participation in the event, calling it “obscene.”

Harris Still Silent On Cuomo

Kamala Harris has also come under fire recently for her silence regarding the sexual assault allegations against New York Governor Andrew Cuomo by at least seven women.

Her response was very different when sexual assault allegations surfaced in 2018 during the confirmation hearing for Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Harris said she believed and supported Kavanaugh’s accuser, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, and that she had a right to tell her story.

In 2019, then presidential candidate Harris said that she also believed women who had come forward to say that they had been made uncomfortable or touched inappropriately by Joe Biden, prior to his announcing his run for president.

Juanita Broaddrick says that the “Me too” movement never acknowledged any allegations against Clinton except those of Monica Lewinsky. Broaddrick stated that, “They’ve never acknowledged that we exist.”

Clinton has never been charged with any crimes relating to his accusers or their accusations.
