Bill and Hillary Clinton Booed at Billy Joel Concert

When Bill and Hillary Clinton attended a Billy Joel concert Thursday night, they got a different reception than they might have expected from the New York City crowd.

After singer Billy Joel dedicated a song to the former president and first lady at Madison Square Garden, an image of the couple appeared on the large screen. At first there were cheers from the audience, but they quickly turned to audible boos.  The cheers and boos competed but both could be heard clearly.

Think about it. This was a New York City crowd, which is notoriously liberal and the best the Clintons could muster from that crowd was a mixed reaction.

That’s pretty bad. It speak volumes about how weak Mrs. Clinton was as a presidential candidate.

Were they booing Bill or Hillary more?

Hillary, not surprisingly, won New York City in 2016 with a whopping 79 percent of the vote! And yet, still plenty of boos for her and her husband in this bastion of liberalism.

But there could also be another reason not directly related to what Mrs. Clinton represents or the last presidential election.

Bill Clinton is facing a mountain of criticism right now over his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, who on indicted on sex trafficking charges last week. A Clinton spokesperson denied the former president had any knowledge of Epstein’s crimes, and claims the former president only took “a total of four trips” with Epstein in the years 2002 and 2003.

But investigative journalist Conchita Sarnoff told Fox News recently that Clinton’s camp was being untruthful about his connections to Epstein.

“I have read too much information and I have spoken to too many people on the inside,” Sarnoff said. “I actually attempted to interview Clinton but he did not agree to do so and I know from the pilot logs and these are pilot logs that you know were written by different pilots and at different times, that Clinton went, he was a guest of Epstein’s 27 times.”

For the record, 27 trips is a lot more than four, as Clinton claims.

“Many of those times Clinton had his Secret Service with him and many times he did not,” Sarnoff continued. “Almost every time that Clinton’s name is on the pilot logs there are underage girls there are initials and there are names of many many girls on that private plane.”

When asked why Clinton’s statement did not match what Sarnoff was saying, the journalist did not mince words.

“Are you saying the former president is not telling the truth?” Sarnoff was asked.

“Yes, I’m saying, sadly, that he is not telling the truth,” Sarnoff replied.

Being a bad presidential candidate is one thing. Being a liar is another.

And if Mr. Clinton is indeed lying about his association with Jeffrey Epstein including the crimes he’s accused of, he should expect something much worse than booing in his future.
