Biden’s State Department Announces New ‘X’ Gender Passports While Americans Stranded In Afghanistan

The State Department celebrated issuing the first US passport with an "X" gender marker, even as reports indicate the number of Americans left behind in Afghanistan continues to grow.

The State Department celebrated issuing the first US passport with an “X” gender marker, even as hundreds of Americans are still left behind in Afghanistan.

In a press statement Wednesday, department spokesman Ned Price lauded the focus on implementing more ‘gender-inclusive’ policies.

“As the Secretary announced in June, the Department is moving towards adding an X gender marker for non-binary, intersex, and gender non-conforming persons applying for a U.S. passport or CRBA,” Price explained.

As such, he said, “The Department has issued the first U.S. passport with an X gender marker.”

Price declared that the State Department “look(s) forward to offering this option to all routine passport applicants” by early 2022.

Focused On Passport Gender

Now, we’re all for competent organizations spinning multiple plates and multi-tasking.

But this isn’t a competent State Department under President Biden, and they really need to channel all of their energy in bringing home Americans stranded in Afghanistan.

You remember them, don’t you, Secretary Antony Blinken?

For weeks on end, the State Department insisted that there were ‘only’ roughly 100 Americans left behind after Biden’s disastrous withdrawal in August.

In fact Price, now focused on gender ‘x’ passports, made that claim just 10 days ago.

“That range has been anywhere from below a 100 – right now it is somewhere in between 100 and 200…” he advised.

Perhaps in their minds, the number, like the gender of some folks, is ‘x.’

And they’re having a lot of trouble solving for x.

Last week, the State Department told congressional staff the number was actually 363 American citizens stuck in Afghanistan, 176 who are ready to leave.

But wait, it gets worse.

On Tuesday, Biden’s Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Colin Kahl told Congress there are 439 American citizens stranded in Afghanistan, 196 who are ready to depart.

In other words, the number of American citizens reported by the administration jumped by over 200 from their original claims, and by almost 80 in under a week.

What are the odds the number of what effectively amounts to Taliban hostages creeps up over 500, or maybe even 1,000, when all is said and done?

Are genderless passports really a priority?

Biden Lied

Do you think for a moment that the media would simply drop covering the situation in Afghanistan if Donald Trump were President right now and one American, let alone nearly 500, had been left behind?

Especially if he made a solemn commitment to never rest until they were safe?

“If there are American citizens left [past August 31] we are going to stay until we get them all out,” Biden said in an interview with ABC News interviewer George Stephanopoulos.

“The commitment holds to get everyone out that, in fact, we can get out and everyone who should get out,” he said.

As stated before, there are 196 Americans right now ready to leave Afghanistan. So what is the holdup, Mr. President?

Is it because they don’t have their gender ‘x’ passports in order?

The State Department’s obsession with gender inclusivity isn’t a one-off either. Last week, they marked ‘International Pronouns Day’ with a tweet offering guidance on why people share their pronouns on social media.

The informational post explains that “sharing pronouns (is) a way of getting to know someone” and “avoids accidentally assuming an incorrect gender.”

They discuss the basic level pronoun assignments – ‘he/him/his,’ ‘she/her/hers’ – but also dabble into those who choose non-traditional pronouns such as ‘they/them/theirs.’

The State Department even makes mention of “pioneering” individuals who use “gender-neutral pronouns such as ze/zir/zirs.”

Gender X. Pronoun Ze. The question is, Y?

Someone was paid taxpayer money to put this together. Some team of government officials worked tirelessly to add gender options to passports.

While American citizens are trapped behind enemy lines in a hostile foreign country.

To quote the comedian Sebastian Maniscalco, “Aren’t you embarrassed?”
