Scholars have often thought that the flood in the biblical story of Noah ended either in Armenia or Turkey.

This theory was reinforced in the late 1950s, after a Turkish pilot noticed a bizarre formation in the mountains that did not fit with the surrounding areas.

From aerial pictures, it is clear that a football formation stood out formed in the rocks (pictured above) on the Turkish border closest to Iran.

This area was known as the “first Christian nation,” as it was first part of the Kingdom of Armenia before the battles with the Turks in the beginning of the 20th century. The pilot knew of the story but refused to jump to conclusions, which is why he sent the photos to an expert at The Ohio State University, Dr. Brandenburger, the same professor who discovered Cuban missile bases on behalf of the Kennedy White House. Brandenburger concluded, “I have no doubt at all, that this object is a ship. In my entire career, I have never seen an object like this on a stereo photo.”

Now, decades later, scientists have used radar in the ground to show that something is buried deep beneath the ground! This is incredible!

The team of geologists didn’t scan the entire object. Instead, they marked out lines that crossed the object with yellow tape. Then they dragged the antenna (about the size of a lawnmower) over the lines and watched the output on the paper recorder. When they got a strong “hit” — meaning there was something solid underneath — they would record the position on the tape [above]. Later, when they made a map of the object, the tape and the location of the “hits” they realized that there was indeed a structure underneath the mud.

“This data does not represent natural geology. These are man made structures. These reflections are appearing too periodic… too periodic to be random in that type of natural space.” — Ron Wyatt of SIR Imaging team.

Here is what the scan looked like…

Then after drilling into the dirt, the team of scientists found many odd animal artifacts, such as dung, cat hair, and a petrified antler.

And most importantly, a piece of petrified wood from the Ark itself seems to have been found. It looks like a large beam, but after studying it, researchers found it was actually three pieces of plank that have been bonded with some sort of glue! Amazing technology that is greater than anything we realized existed in the ancient world. Whoa!

In addition, large stones were discovered, which could have been used as large anchors to keep the boat stable in rougher waters.

In addition, the surrounding area shows signs of settlements and graves that could have belonged to a community founded by Noah and his family after the Ark voyage.

All the findings so far match with the Bible accounts, along with the details captured by Theophilus of Antioch in the early years of Christianity.  These findings seem to confirm a critical story of the Book of Genesis. Extraordinary!
