Singer, actress and outspoken leftist Bette Midler said Monday that President Donald Trump could kill someone on the streets of New York City and Democrats in Congress still wouldn’t try to impeach him.

“So are the Democrats waiting for Trump to *literally* shoot someone on Fifth Ave before they’ll impeach him?” Midler tweeted. “I mean, with this guy, it’s could happen before the end of the year. Asking for a friend. My country.”

Bette Can’t Contain Herself

It’s no secret Midler spend a lot of time on Twitter saying crazy things, many of them about the President. Just last week, she seemed to believe that if pop singer Beyoncé’s army of fans on Instagram fans could unite, together they could vote Trump out of office next November.

Never mind the fact that this is absurd on its face–how many Beyonce fans aren’t even old enough to vote? Plenty, but this didn’t stop Midler from trying.

“Beyoncé has 133 million Instagram followers,” Midler tweeted. “More than double the people who voted for Trump. Wouldn’t it be amazing if the BeyHive mobilized to defeat him? I also wouldn’t mind if a regular bee hive f***ed his s*** up.”

She Even Went After Melania!

The insanity never ends with Midler. In July, during a nasty case of Mueller Report induced Trump Derangement Syndrome, Midler tweeted that President Trump “rapes us all with impunity.”

Midler’s kookiness no bounds when it comes to President Trump. Last year the singer was even forced to apologize for body shaming First Lady Melania Trump.

Midler Was Revisiting Trump’s Old Joking Comments About Getting Away with Shooting People

Though Midler’s comment about Trump shooting people in the streets would still not be enough for Democrats to pursue impeachment, she’s obviously referring to what the President said about his own supporters during the 2016 election.

“You know what else they say about my people? The polls, they say I have the most loyal people. Did you ever see that?” then candidate Trump said at a campaign rally in January 2016.

“Where I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters, okay? It’s like incredible,” Trump said.

While he was obviously joking, Trump’s comment is what obviously inspired Midler’s latest freakout.

The singer-actress can continue to call the president whatever names she likes.

But ask yourself this: If given the choice on who could be president, who do you think more Americans would choose? Donald Trump or Bette Midler?
