2020 presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke said at the Alabama Democratic Conference Saturday that “this country … is still racist at its foundation, at its core.”
“No other country in the world is even close to this kind of carnage,” the former Democratic Texas representative added, addressing gun violence in the United States.
