Ben Stein, former presidential speechwriter, world-renowned economist, game show host, and actor, slammed the President once more: this time explaining how Obama looks down on the American people and thinks of them as “racist sons of bitches.”
Last week, Stein took Obama to task as a “bad joke,” “a very real danger” to our nation, and said he holds a “real strong hatred for America.”
Appearing on John Gibson’s Fox radio program, Stein followed up on that hatred.
“We have a mealy-mouthed president who takes pleasure in thumbing the eyes of the American people,” Stein explained, referring to the President’s insistence on taking in Syrian refugees despite the fact that a vast majority of Americans don’t want him to do it.
He asked what would be the harm in stopping the flow of refugees that the American people view as dangerous for the fear of terrorists infiltrating the group.
“Why not put a stop to it, wait and see what we can do in the way of putting in controls?” Stein asked.
“Instead, Mr. Obama says, I’m better than you,” Stein continued. “I’m morally superior to you. You guys are racist sons of b*tches. … You guys are nasty Klansmen and nativists.”
Stein then said he’s “seen a lot of presidents” in his time, but “I cannot remember seeing any presidents who were quite so condescending to the American people.”
Listen to the interview below (relevant portion at about 2:40, but his continued comments on “fake racism” on college campuses is well worth the listen further into the interview) …
Stein: We have a mealy-mouthed president who takes pleasure in thumbing the eyes of the American people. What he’s doing about the refugees, and the very legitimate concern that Americans feel about taking in these refugees is just…putting his thumb in the eyes of the American people.
Clearly, the American people have a legitimate point. There are large numbers of Syrian refugees who want to come in, when you see them on TV, the line is endless, like the Israelites fleeing Egypt, but it’s perfectly legitimate to say, ‘Well, some of these are going to be terrorists.’
Some of them of course will be terrorists. Why not put a stop to it, wait and see what we can do in the way of putting in controls? …
Instead, Mr. Obama says, I’m better than you. I’m morally superior to you. You guys are racist sons of b*tches. … You guys are nasty Klansmen and nativists.
But, the questions the American people raise are quite legitimate questions, and I don’t see why they deserve the condescension of a president. I cannot — I’ve seen a lot of presidents, I cannot remember seeing any presidents who were quite so condescending to the American people.
