Ben Carson hammered Democrats and their quest to impeach and remove President Trump from office as “very immature.”
Carson, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, said the decision to go through with the divisive measure was not well thought out.
He voiced such concerns in a conversation of encouragement with the President.
In an interview with CBS News, he relayed that he had warned Mr. Trump against “giving up” and voiced disdain for the impeachment effort as “very immature.”
One ‘CBS This Morning’ host said he found the description “remarkable” because “both Republicans and Democrats would perhaps use the word ‘consequential.'”
No … no, we’re pretty good with Dr. Carson’s terminology. It was most definitely an immature effort by a party driven by immature extremists.

Carson Calls Out the Witnesses
Carson went on to suggest that the key impeachment witnesses Democrats propped up as beyond criticism because of their ‘heroism’ could, in fact, have been lying.
“Throughout the impeachment process, we saw and heard from career civil servants. You work with a lot of career civil servants here,” correspondent Jericka Duncan inquired. “Do you have any reason to doubt that the foreign service officers who testified in the impeachment proceedings were telling the truth?”
Aside from the fact they clearly, based on transcripts and evidence, were embellishing their concerns and testimony?
“Well, I mean, they’re people,” Carson replied. “Do people have various reasons for doing things that are not, uh, fair? Of course, they do.”
“What we really need to be thinking about is the whole concept of fairness,” he added, something the Democrats abandoned in the House, but are insisting on in the Senate.

No to Reparations
Carson has been on a bit of a tear recently, calling out one of the more ‘immature’ ringmasters of the impeachment circus, Maxine Waters.
Last month, he wrote a scathing letter to Waters, who has been so beside herself with impeachment dreams that she’s even led chants of “Impeach 45” at people’s funerals, accusing her of “shamelessness.”
“Your shamelessness knows no bounds,” he accurately penned.
During the CBS interview, the Trump ally also said he opposed reparations, calling the idea “unworkable.”
“What percentage of money do you get?” he openly wondered. “What percentage of reparation? No one is ever going to be able to work that out.”
No, but ‘immature’ candidates in 2020 are going to promise reparations to the black community in exchange for votes.
