Former President Barack Obama reemerged on Wednesday to shamelessly use the coronavirus pandemic that has killed many people to push his radical climate change agenda.
Instead of using his platform to call for unity as we face this pandemic together, Obama instead nonsensically warned that climate change will be “far harsher” than COVID-19 ever was.
“We’ve all had to adapt to cope with a pandemic,” Obama wrote on Twitter. “Climate change will force far harsher changes on our kids.”
“All of us should follow the young people who’ve led the efforts to protect our planet for generations, and demand more of our leaders at every level,” he added alongside a link to a story about young people around the globe continuing to launch protests as they call for radical policy changes to reduce carbon emissions and shut down an oil-based economy.

Despite the fact that there is a longstanding tradition in this country in which presidents refrain from criticizing their successors, Obama has been outspoken about his disdain for Donald Trump’s moves throughout his presidency, particularly when it comes to his coronavirus response. Earlier this month, Obama called for more coronavirus tests to be made available despite the fact that President Trump was already working overtime to make that happen.
“Social distancing bends the curve and relieves some pressure on our heroic medical professionals,” Obama tweeted. “But in order to shift off current policies, the key will be a robust system of testing and monitoring – something we have yet to put in place nationwide.”

It’s shameful that Obama appears to be gleefully using this pandemic to fuel his radical anti-Trump agendas. Thank goodness this pandemic didn’t hit when Obama was in office, because he never would have been able to handle it as well as Trump has.
