Three masked robbers made a very poor decision when they entered Latino’s Meat Market on Halloween in Reading, Pennsylvania.
One pushed down a customer and began firing his gun. Two owners, who legally carried guns, returned fire, killing two of the robbers. The third grabbed money from the cash register and fled, leaving his companions to their fate.
The entire faced paced incident lasted only 22 seconds and can be seen in the following video.
The Berks County District Attorney stated that the store workers were justified in the shootings and that no charges will be filed.
Latino’s Meat Market was obviously not a gun free zone. This possibly saved the lives of employees and customers. Stricter gun control laws would have only emboldened these armed robbers. Instead they became casualties to their own poor choices.
