Arizona Certifies Result For Biden During Election Integrity Hearing

The State of Arizona certified the state’s 11 electoral votes for Joe Biden at the same time that a make-shift hearing of the state legislature on election integrity was taking place.

President Trump’s lawyers, Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis, were at the hearing along with members of the Arizona’s legislature.

Ducey: “We Do Elections Well Here In Arizona”

Arizona officials certified the election results for Biden on Monday morning.

Republicans Governor Doug Ducey and Attorney General Mark Brnovich, along with Democrat Secretary of State Katie Hobbs and Supreme Court Justice Robert Brutinel, signed the results in Phoenix.

“I’ve said several times: Arizona is a good government state,” Ducey said in an interview with Fox News. “I trust our election system. There’s integrity in our election system. Joe Biden did win Arizona.”

“We do elections well here in Arizona. The system is strong and that’s why I bragged on it so much,” Ducey added.

Hobbs, who has slammed claims of election fraud, also praised the certification of the results. “Despite the unprecedented challenges, Arizonans showed up for our democracy,” Hobbs said.

“Every Arizona voter has my thanks and should know they can stand proud that this election was transparency, accuracy and fairness in accordance with Arizona’s laws and election procedures, despite numerous unfounded claims to the contrary,” she continued.

Trump Supporters Gather Outside Integrity Hearing

As the certification of the election results took place, a hearing on election integrity took place only a couple of miles away, hosted by members of the Arizona legislature, involving Trump campaign lawyers Ellis and Giuliani.

State Representative Mark Finchem State said that lawmakers hope “to hear testimony and view evidence related to allegations of electoral compromise related to the 2020 election.”

Allegations of such put forward in the hearing are certain to be disputed, as have previous allegations.

Trump supporters gathered outside the hotel to support the hearing, which was backed by Arizona Congressman Paul Gosar.

“Bring your flags and let’s fight for our country and expose the fraudulent vote,” Gosar tweeted.

AZ Secretary Of State Called Trump Supporters Neo-Nazis

It’s perhaps no surprise that supporter of President Trump have been skeptical about the election results, as Hobbs has made it clear she is not only the left, but also slandered those same Trump supporters as being Neo-Nazis.

“[President Trump] has made it abundantly clear he’s more interested in pandering to his neo-nazi base than being [President] for all Americans,” Hobbs tweeted in 2017.

Conservative Hollywood actor James Woods suggested that Hobbs should recuse herself from her position to help ease the minds of Republican voters.

“This woman is calling every Trump voter a ‘Nazi’,” Woods said. “As Arizona’s Secretary of State, she will be in charge of any recount. Should she not recuse herself after vocally dismissing half the electorate in her state?”
