AOC Tests Positive For COVID Days After Partying Maskless In Florida

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) has tested positive for COVID-19 days after being spotted cavorting maskless in Florida.

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) has tested positive for COVID-19 days after being spotted partying maskless in Florida.

The New York Democrat made the announcement on her official Twitter page, which has over 12 million fewer followers than her personal page, where she defended herself against criticism for traveling to Florida on her vacation.

“Representative Ocasio-Cortez has received a positive test result for COVID-19,” her statement reads.

“She is experiencing symptoms and is recovering at home.”

The statement contained the prerequisite insistence that the congresswoman has been vaccinated and has received her booster shot while she encourages others to do the same.

AOC Tests Positive For COVID

An image surfaced last weekend of AOC and her boyfriend dining maskless in Miami as COVID cases in her home state were soaring.

Not long thereafter, the congresswoman was filmed maskless in a densely packed drag bar in Miami, hugging and socializing with bargoers, even getting a kiss from actor Billy Porter.

Ocasio-Cortez, a strong proponent of mask mandates, was widely panned as a hypocrite for fleeing to a mask-free red state rather than opting to take a vacation where COVID protocols remain locked in.

When claims were made that former President Donald Trump tested positive for COVID three days before a presidential debate with Joe Biden, the media immediately latched on and openly wondered if he had put his successor’s life at risk.

Trump denied the accusation that he tested positive earlier than reported.

Will the media respond with equal fervor and question whether or not AOC put people’s lives at risk?

AOC Can’t Take The Heat

Following criticism for cavorting maskless in Florida, AOC responded on her personal Twitter account by suggesting Republicans are simply sexually frustrated because they want to date her.

“It’s starting to get old ignoring the very obvious, strange, and deranged sexual frustrations that underpin the Republican fixation on me, women, [and] LGBT+ people in general,” wrote Ocasio-Cortez.

“These people clearly need therapy, won’t do it, and use politics as their outlet instead,” she added. “It’s really weird.”

Of course, there’s nothing wrong with AOC enjoying the freedom to choose which precautions she takes in dealing with the pandemic, freedom she can find in Florida, not her own state of New York.

She knew the risks and decided to go maskless. She’s young and seemingly healthy (though AOC’s track record seems to indicate she will play up her illness as being close to death).

But AOC doesn’t want others to have that choice. Her hypocrisy knows no bounds.

The congresswoman hasn’t been concerned about COVID for some time. Even in New York, at the Met Gala, Ocasio-Cortez was seen living it up with fellow elites maskless while servers who helped attendees were all forced to cover their faces.

Ocasio-Cortez has previously said people who “weren’t wearing masks” were the ones who “forced caseloads to be so high that we had to shut down areas to begin with.”

“So if you’re anti-shutdown, you better have been wearing a mask all damn year, because don’t come to me and say you’re anti-shutdown when you’re spreading COVID all over the place, potentially,” she railed.

Last March, AOC criticized another red state, Texas, for lifting their mask mandate saying doing so “endangers so many people, especially essential workers [and] the vulnerable.”

All of this was long before the omicron variant sent cases skyrocketing.
