Trump-Supporting Actor and Immigrant Antonio Sabato Jr. Explains Why He Supports Building the Wall

It’s not very often the ladies of “The View” get smacked with a dose of reality, but this one is particularly impressive.

And it came from a member of Hollywood no less.

Actor Antonio Sabato Jr., who has had starring roles in Melrose Place and General Hospital, was cornered by the show’s hosts for his support of building a wall and encouraging prospective immigrants to come to America legally.

One host hit him with analogies to the Holocaust, while another pointed out that he too was an immigrant at one time.

Sabato, undeterred, hammered them with reality. Check out the interview below …

The disconnect, as per usual with pro-illegal immigration hawks, is that there are people that came into this country via legal means. They worked hard for years to attain the American dream. They waited in line and took the proper steps. They weren’t handed amnesty and rewarded for breaking the law.

“You call yourself an immigrant, but you’re in favor of the wall being built, being paid for by the American people and keeping other immigrants out of the country much like yourself,” host Sunny Hostin confronted.

Sabato, who is running for Congress in California, explained that “the American people have to be taken care of first,” and that he doesn’t want to see America “take care of everybody else’s problem.”

Co-host and pretend comedian Joy Behar tried to counter that, had America shared his viewpoint, Sabato would never have been let in the country.

“If they felt that way when your family was coming over here you would still be in Italy,” she said assuming she had made a point.

Sabato unleashed reality that we’re certain went straight over Behar’s head.

“I came here legally. We had to wait in line and struggle and save a lot of money,” Sabato shared. “There’s people like that waiting in line. So, they deserve their chance.”

Unfortunately, most liberals like those peppering the panel on “The View” stop listening after they hear the word legally. They don’t recognize the concept.

Sabato became famous in political circles after speaking at the Republican National Convention in 2016, attacking former President Barack Obama with questions about his background. He threw his support behind President Trump, calling him the “unity” candidate who would secure borders and protect citizens.

Do you support Antonio Sabato Jr.’s views on the border wall and legal immigration? Tell us why or why not below!
