‘Anonymous’ NYT Author Miles Taylor Claims Trump Has ‘Almost Nazi-Like Immigration Policies’

'Anonymous' Miles Taylor Claims Trump Has ‘Almost Nazi-Like Immigration Policies’

After anti-Trump ‘Anonymous’ New York Times op-ed author was revealed to be former Department of Homeland Security staffer Miles Taylor on Wednesday, he predictably was interviewed by CNN’s Chris Cuomo.

The ‘Anonymous’ article, if you recall, caused quite the stir. It was titled, “I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration,” and proclaimed, “I work for the president but like-minded colleagues and I have vowed to thwart parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.”

That was pretty tame, compared to what Taylor would go on to say.

During the interview, Taylor claimed the Trump administration’s immigration policies were “almost Nazi-like.”

‘Anonymous’ Miles Taylor Accuses Trump Of Pursuing ‘Nazi-like Immigration Policies’

Host Chris Cuomo asked, “What is your biggest fear about what happens if the president has a second term?”

Taylor replied, “I think the president will feel completely emboldened to pursue not just these almost Nazi-like immigration policies.”

Really? Equating Trump’s policies with the Third Reich?

What policies, exactly, resemble those of the Nazis?

We often hear the left make claims about “kids in cages,” but who built those cages?

It wasn’t Trump. It was Obama.

Taylor continued, “I don’t say that lightly that is a pretty harsh term to levee against the president, but that’s really where they want to go is turn this country into fortress America rather than the shining city on a hill.”

Fortress America? Taylor is apparently unaware of the fact that the Obama administration actually deported more people than President Trump’s.

That’s quite different from the usual narrative we hear, isn’t it?

“But worse still for me as a lifelong national security professional is I believe the president is going to sell out our allies and befriend our enemies, and put this country in danger,” ‘Anonymous’ added.

This is a strange claim, given President Trump is currently putting together multiple historic Middle East peace deals and winding down his predecessor’s wars in Afghanistan and Syria.

Taylor Uses Tired Anti-Trump Talking Points

Taylor then trotted out the worn out Democrat talking point that Trump rubs elbows with dictators.

“He’s already shown a proclivity for friendships with depots and dictators around the world,” Taylor said. “He has kicked our best friends to the curb.”

“That kind of thing will put this country in danger for the long run,” he added.

Was Barack Obama forging a “friendship” with Cuba dictator Raul Castro when he attempted diplomacy with that country?

Was Ronald Reagan doing the same when he met with Russia’s Mikhail Gorbachev and helped end the Cold War?

Taylor continued, “The president will pull out of NATO, pull our troops back from places where they’re fighting forward, so Americans don’t have to fight bad guys here at home on our city streets.”

“That is what he is going to do,” he went on. “I think if the guard rails come off, which they have, the president will feel unimpeded. The damage he’s done to our democratic institutions, he will double down on that.”

Taylor ranted on.

“Damaging the courts, damaging the oversight power of Congress, and expanding the power of the Executive so far that it’s unreasonable,” he said.

“This is not a conservative president because conservatives believe in small government,” Taylor declared.

“Donald Trump’s government is so big and expansive that it invades our lives and our minds every single day,” he finished.

President Trump Mocks Taylor As ‘Low-Level Sleaze Bag’

Upon learning that Miles is the infamous ‘Anonymous’ author, President Trump went on a tear.

“Turned out to be a low-level staffer, a sleaze bag, who’s never worked in the White House,” Trump told a cheering crowd.
