Ann Coulter suggested President Donald Trump should be impeached Thursday, after he tweeted about his immigration policy Monday morning.

“At this point, who DOESN’T want Trump impeached?” the firebrand tweeted shortly after 7:00 a.m. Thursday.

The statement was a reaction to a series of tweets from the president that appeared to support the bipartisan effort to create a law that essentially performs the same function as Obama’s DACA executive action.

“Does anybody really want to throw out good, educated and accomplished young people who have jobs, some serving in the military? Really!” Trump tweeted early Thursday morning, adding, “They have been in our country for many years through no fault of their own – brought in by parents at a young age. Plus BIG border security.”

Coulter wrote the book “In Trump We Trust,” which came out during the 2016 presidential election. The book was crafted as a defense of “Trumpism,” according to The Atlantic, but within days of its release, she was already threatening to cancel her book tour when Trump appeared to soften his stance on the immigration issue during the campaign.

“I think this is a mistake,” Coulter said on “Hardball” with Chris Matthews last year. “It sounds like it’s coming from consultants. I’ve thought he’s made other mistakes, and I’ve given him constructive criticism when I think he makes a mistake. I think this is a mistake.”

She ultimately concluded, “This could be the shortest book tour ever if he’s really softening his position on immigration.”
