Adam Kinzinger Picks A Fight With UFC Fighter, Gets Slapped By Tucker Carlson As ‘Mr. Tough Guy’

Adam Kinzinger mocked UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell for an interview in which he said he's ready to fight "evil" in America, and was promptly slapped back by Tucker Carlson as "Mr. Tough Guy."

Adam Kinzinger mocked UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell for an interview in which Mitchell opposed U.S. involvement in Ukraine, which drew the attention of Fox News’ Tucker Carlson.

Mitchell appeared in an interview with the Fox News host earlier this week.

“We’re tired of this politics crap that’s going on,” he told Carlson. “It’s evil is what’s going on. Evil has [taken] over this nation and we ain’t afraid of it. And we’re ready to fight.”

The comments which piqued Kinzinger’s interest, however, involved Mitchell stating that he has no interest in fighting foreign wars, but if anything were to happen to his home state of Arkansas, it’d be a different story.

“I will dig my boots in the ground, and I will die for everything I love. And I will not retreat,” he said.

“I’m just not wanting to go waste my life fighting for some of these battles that I don’t even believe in,” added Mitchell. “I believe our leaders, a lot of these elites are guilty of treason. What they’ve done is just treasonous.”

Kinzinger Goes After UFC Fighter

Kinzinger shared a clip of UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell’s interview with Carlson and said there’s little doubt the Greatest Generation would like to slap the “kid.”

“Oh my Lord. This is America,” he wrote adding, “The WW2 generation would love to slap him I’m sure.”

Kinzinger (R-IL), best known for openly weeping during a hearing regarding the Capitol riot, claimed the interview was a subtle way to support Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He then mocked Mitchell again, along with residents of Arkansas.

“Side note to this kid, please just stay here and entertain,” he tweeted. “Nobody is asking you to fight for your country. There are far braver men and women that will do that, even in Arkansas.”

Carlson Beats Him Back

Tucker Carlson responded to Kinzinger’s insults by calling the anti-Trump lawmaker “tiny minded” and mocking him as “Mr. Tough Guy.”

“People like the man you just saw are a huge threat to the tiny-minded members of Congress like Adam Kinzinger who are doing things that do not serve this country in any way,” Carlson said referencing the UFC fighter.

“He was completely triggered by that interview,” he alleged.

Regarding Kinzinger’s comments that there are ‘far braver’ people than the UFC fighter, Carlson challenged the ‘never Trumper’ to man up and come on his show.

“Really, where are these men and women who are far braver than the men we interviewed last night?” Carlson asked. “We would love to know.”

“Adam Kinzinger is always invited on the show,” Carlson added. “Any time. We will give him the hour. Mr. Tough Guy.”

‘Mr. Tough Guy’ isn’t going to accept that challenge any time soon. He’s currently angling for a role at CNN when he’s out of Congress, where he and Brian Stelter can share a group cry every time they have to talk about Trump or the ‘insurrection.’

That said, we’d love to see Bryce Mitchell respond on Tucker’s show in the future.
