Miracle Mattress in San Antonio, Texas, released the most offensive TV commercial I have ever seen – and that is no overstatement. The commercial advertises for a 9/11 sale (!!!) and is abhorrent from beginning to end.
In the opening lines, the woman in the commercial says, “What better way to remember 9/11 than with a Twin Tower sale?” (The sale is every mattress size selling for the twin price.) It gets worse.
She then proceeds to knock the other guys into the two mattress towers behind her, causing them to come crashing down, while she mock screams and shouts, “Oh, my God!” mimicking the New Yorkers who watched the Twin Towers fall on 9/11/2001. She finishes it by smirking, “We’ll never forget.”

Really and truly, WTF is wrong with people?! On what planet was this commercial a good idea?!
For his part, the owner of Miracle Mattress issued a strong apology letter condemning the ad. The only problem? The woman in the video is his daughter, so he must have known about it.
In the off-chance he did not see or approve the video beforehand, I feel terrible for him that his heartless idiot daughter destroyed his business because you can bet the people of San Antonio will never forget this despicable ad.
