WATCH: Video Shows Obama Administration Bragging About Removing ‘100 Percent’ of Chemical Weapons From Syria

In a devastating indictment of the failed Obama administration, the Washington Free Beacon has arranged a 2-minute video that shows clip after clip of Obama and officials bragging about the removal of “100 percent” of the chemical weapons in Syria.

Recent reports indicate that at least 70 people were killed – including 11 children – in a chemical weapons attack in Syria. The death toll is almost certain to rise.

President Trump stated that the horrific attack was “an affront to humanity” and that the attack “crossed a lot of lines for me.”

How was this attack possible when President Obama negotiated a deal to remove all chemical weapons from Syria in 2013, something he and his cohorts then bragged to the American people about unceasingly for weeks, even years, afterward?

In the video clip below, you’ll see a 2-minute montage of the Obama administration telling the American people over and over again how they rid Syria of these chemical weapons.

Former Secretary of State John Kerry even announces to the world in a television interview that “we got 100 percent of the chemical weapons out” of Syria.

Via the Free Beacon:

For several years, Democratic lawmakers and Obama administration officials touted that Syria turned over “100 percent” of its chemical weapon stockpile.

“It turns out we are getting chemical weapons out of Syria without initiating a strike,” Obama said.

“We struck a deal where we got a hundred percent of the chemical weapons out,” then Secretary of State John Kerry said.

These reminders are a devastating indictment on the previous administration’s competence and/or honesty in speaking with the American people.

They even touted their achievement on ridding Syria of chemical weapons on social media:

It’s nearly impossible to watch the above montage and avoid coming to the conclusion that the claim that Obama got rid of “100 percent” of the chemical weapons out of Syria is patently false.

However, the “fact checking” website Politifact said Kerry’s claims in 2014 “largely held up.”

Rather than correct the record, they have now pulled their previous assessment and archived the original post.

“Given recent events, we have pulled that fact-check because we now have many unanswered questions,” they wrote.

Perhaps those questions should have been answered when they rated the claims as mostly true to begin with?

Senator John McCain blasted Obama for allowing this chemical attack to take place due to his mishandling of the Syrian conflict.

“Barack Obama had an opportunity to stop this and he took a hike, and that’s a terrible legacy,” McCain said.

But that didn’t stop the former president from bragging that he had indeed stopped any possibility of a chemical attack from happening in Syria for years.

Yet another disgraceful legacy from President Obama.

“I have to just say that the world is a mess,” Trump added. “I inherited a mess.”
