Tim Scott, a Republican Senator from South Carolina, became the first black Senator to be elected in the South since Reconstruction.
He is a role model for the black community, and an historic figure who should be raised up as a great American story by members of both political parties.
Instead, liberals have been relentlessly assailing his name and reputation and blasting him with racist comments, all because of his support for Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
Scott went so far as to read aloud some of the nasty messages he’s received on social media because of his vote for Sessions.

Via WYFF:
South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, the Senate’s lone African-American Republican, has mounted a remarkably personal defense of Sen. Jeff Sessions, President Donald Trump’s embattled choice to lead the justice Department.
Scott, a conservative, said he has received racist messages since announcing his support for Sessions.
He read messages in which he was called an “Uncle Tom” and said, “I just wish that my friends who call themselves liberals would want tolerance for all Americans.”
As for those abhorrent messages:
“You are a disgrace to the black race,” read one.
Another asked, “How does a black man turn on his own?”
The irony cannot be overlooked – these liberals are making racist comments towards a black man who happens to support a nominee they themselves have been trying to portray as racist.
It makes your head spin, doesn’t it?
Scott certainly seems to agree, pointing out the selective outrage of the left:
“The liberal left that speaks and desires for all of us to be tolerant do not want to be tolerant of anyone that disagrees with where they are coming from.”
More proof, as if it were necessary, that the party of intolerance, the party of racism and bigotry, is the Democrat Party.
