Tucker Carlson Takes on Professor Who Insulted Soldiers and Called for ‘White Genocide’

A Pennsylvania College professor who said he “tried not to vomit” when an airline passenger made the kind gesture of giving up their first-class seat to a soldier appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show and received his comeuppance.

George Ciccariello-Maher, a professor at Drexel University, posted to social media that the scene on the airline involving a uniformed soldier nearly made him sick.

“Some guy gave up his first class seat for a uniformed soldier,” he wrote in a now protected tweet. “People are thanking him. I’m trying not to vomit or yell about Mosul.”

Maher is the same professor who previously posted a message that he claimed was satire involving “white genocide.”

Carlson had his way in response to Ciccariello-Maher, saying his writings are “childlike” and that the professor is nothing more than “a performance artist.”

“You’re not capable of writing a clear sentence,” Carlson said later adding that his work is “crap.”

It was one of the most brutal yet of Tucker’s many takedowns.

Via Fox News Insider:

“Why is it bad to give them a first-class seat?” Tucker asked. “Somebody’s trying to be nice to guy who’s going through all these hardships … and that makes you mad. Why?”

Ciccariello-Maher said it was an “empty gesture,” and he wants to see policies that actually help the men and women of the U.S. military and innocent civilians.

Tucker noted that Ciccariello-Maher made his tweet about the first-class seat protected, which prevented the public from seeing it.

“If you’re proud of what you think and you can defend what you think, why did you do that?” Tucker pressed.

Ciccariello-Maher had to issue a statement separating his personal abhorrent comments on social media from that of his employer.

“My personal views expressed off-campus have absolutely nothing to do with those of my employer, Drexel University,” he said.

Ciccariello-Maher then blamed right-wing media for the outrage that ensued after his ‘tried not to vomit’ post.

“Maybe predictably, my tweet has since been fed into and misrepresented by the outrage machine that is right-wing media,” he wrote.

For their part, Drexel University had already referred to Ciccariello-Maher’s post on white genocide as “deeply disturbing.”
