President Trump To Visit Hurricane-Ravaged Puerto Rico

President Trump is set to visit the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico after the island was roiled by Hurricane Maria. He will be visiting next Tuesday. That’s the soonest he can go, as first-responders are struggling to bring aid to the displaced people.

Trump confirmed this before press this morning:

However, it’s not true that President Trump has been neglecting Puerto Rico. He’s tweeted about the territory in recent days:

And Puerto Rico’s governor has gone out of his way to thank the Trump Administration, and has praised its coordinated response to the crisis:

President Trump is doing all he can to help Puerto Rico, and he’s about to do more. The critics are taking advantage of a crisis to attack our president when all he’s trying to do is help out people who are suffering. For shame.

Share this story with others to show them that President Trump isn’t neglecting Puerto Rico. Puretro Rico is in our prayers.
