The late Rev. Jerry Falwell was a conservative televangelist who played a key role in President Ronald Reagan’s historic electoral victories. As a leading voice of the Christian “silent majority,” evangelical Christians rallied behind Reagan and have been a powerful force in politics ever since.
Now, Rev. Falwell’s son and the president of Liberty University, Jerry Falwell Jr., just announced that conservative businessman Donald Trump is the heir to the Reagan legacy. That’s why he endorsed Trump’s campaign just days before the critical Iowa caucuses!
In a statement announcing his endorsement, Falwell called Trump “a successful executive and entrepreneur, a wonderful father and a man who I believe can lead our country to greatness again.”[…]
“It is truly an honor to receive Jerry’s endorsement. Not only is he a high-quality person, with a wonderful family, whom I have great respect for – I also consider him a very good friend and his support means so much to me,” Trump said in a statement.
Great honor- Rev. Jerry Falwell Jr. of Liberty University, one of the most respected religious leaders in our nation, has just endorsed me!

Falwell noted recently on Fox News that Trump reminds him of his father. They have been exchanging private messages and discussing ways to promote Christian principles in America, after two terms of President Barack Obama in the White House.
Here’s video of Trump’s recent speech at Liberty University, where he calls on Christians to unite for the good of America:
At every opportunity, Obama has attacked and insulted Christianity. Clearly, Trump is proud of his faith and is willing to stand up for Christians!
