January and February Had the Best Job Growth Since 2015

Most news organizations do not remember when they used to talk about how the nation needed to have 250,000 jobs per month to bring down unemployment and help fix the failing economy. That number changed over the last 1.5 years to 150,000 without a lot of people speaking on it.

I don’t know who did that or how that happened, but I do remember that peak number of 250,000 and Barack Obama’s administration wasn’t making the mark.

President Donald Trump said he would bring back jobs and he promised America this would happen if he were elected. Republicans do not make a lot of promises like Democrats, but this is a promise he felt strongly about, and on Wednesday morning, this report from Fox Business will give more Americans hope for the future of Trump’s presidency. In the private sector, employers added close to 300,000 jobs in February alone, and that’s cause for celebration.

U.S. private employers added 298,000 jobs in February, well above economists’ expectations, a report by a payrolls processor showed on Wednesday.

Economists surveyed by Reuters had forecast the ADP National Employment Report would show a gain of 190,000 jobs, with estimates ranging from 150,000 to 247,000.

Private payroll gains in the month earlier were revised up to 261,000 from an originally reported 246,000 increase. The report is jointly developed with Moody’s Analytics.

The ADP figures come ahead of the U.S. Labor Department’s more comprehensive non-farm payrolls report on Friday, which includes both public and private-sector employment.

Economists polled by Reuters are looking for U.S. private payroll employment to have grown by 193,000 jobs in February, down from 237,000 the month before.

Total non-farm employment is expected to have changed by 190,000.

The unemployment rate is forecast to tick down to 4.7 percent from the 4.8 percent recorded a month earlier.

We’ve got such a long way to go and remember Rome wasn’t built in a day but one day they started building Rome and that’s the lesson we all must use. Donald Trump isn’t a miracle worker; he’s a hard worker who gives his all and wants America to succeed.

These job numbers are good news, but it’s only a pebble in the stream. Let’s continue to support this presidency and pray for the recovery of our country.
