President Trump Disbands His Manufacturing Council and Strategy and Policy Forum After Charlottesville

With the number of CEOs resigning from both the White House Manufacturing Council and Strategy and Policy Forum continuing to increase, President Trump has pulled the plug on both.

This is the latest staff mix-up following the Charlottesville tragedy.

Many business leaders, reading the liberal media, have determined that Trump wasn’t hard enough on the white supremacists. So they’re bailing the councils in large numbers. And now Trump has put the kibosh on the councils entirely.

According to The Washington Times:

“President Trump disbanded two of his economic advisory councils Wednesday, faced with embarrassing resignations and rising public pressure over his comments about white nationalism.”

It’s unlikely that the media outrage over Charlottesville and Trump is going to quiet down any time soon. But it will eventually pass. This is yet another instance of liberals blowing something out of proportion. These business people will regret giving up their access to the president.

Trump is nice to provide cover to business leaders. He’s taking the heat for them. Somehow, I doubt these same businesses would repay Trump for his kindness in return.
