President Trump is expected to announce his decision on ending the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program today, and his predecessor is allegedly waiting to pounce.
In his final press conference as president, Barack Obama threatened to speak out against President Trump at “certain moments where I think our core values may be at stake.”
One of those moments, he explained, involved “efforts to round up kids who have grown up here and for all practical purposes are American kids and send them someplace else.”

Now, sources indicate Obama is about to get serious, preparing to speak out on social media if Trump goes through with this decision.
Former President Barack Obama plans to speak out if President Donald Trump declares his intention to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, according to a person close to Obama.
Trump is expected to announce on Tuesday that in six months, he will terminate the Obama-era DACA initiative, which grants two-year work permits to undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. as children and stayed out of trouble. POLITICO first reported the news.
According to the source, Obama plans to post a statement to Facebook, where he currently has over 94 million followers.
Politically speaking, the statement will hold little to no tangible value. Obama can speak out all he’d like, but the current president has the authority to end an illegal program implemented by his predecessor.

“The notion that we would just arbitrarily or because of politics punish those kids, when they didn’t do anything wrong themselves,” Obama said in January, “I think would be something that would merit me speaking out.”
Remember, President George W. Bush went an entire eight years while Obama blamed him for everything under the sun, and didn’t once speak out against his presidency.
You didn’t expect that same level of class from Obama, did you?
