Less than 3 days after President Trump fired Sally Yates for failing to enforce his Executive Order limited travel from terror-prone nations, we have just learned that the Obama official may receive a huge payday from left wing law firms.
President Trump continues to drain the swamp!
After defying his orders, Trump terminated acting Attorney General Sally Yates, an Obama holdover who instructed the Department of Justice to ignore his Executive Order temporarily limiting travel from terror-prone nations.
Yates was temporarily filling the role while Trump’s selection, Jeff Sessions, awaits Senate confirmation.
Her defiance in not upholding and defending the Executive Order – her job – showed Yates to be an extremist, partisan idealogue, something you simply can not have in the role of Attorney General.
Her extremism led to Trump firing her almost immediately.

President Trump fired his acting attorney general on Monday night, removing her as the nation’s top law enforcement officer after she defiantly refused to defend his executive order closing the nation’s borders to refugees and people from predominantly Muslim countries.

The president replaced Ms. Yates with Dana J. Boente, the United States attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, saying that he would serve as attorney general until Congress acts to confirm Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama. In his first act in his new role, Mr. Boente announced that he was rescinding Ms. Yates’s order.
The statement from President Trump claimed Yates was fired for “refusing to enforce a legal order designed to protect the citizens of the United States.”
She “is weak on borders and very weak on illegal immigration,” the statement read, adding “(Yates) has betrayed the Department of Justice.”
Not only that, she betrayed the American people.
But it looks like the President had the last laugh on this matter …

Yates will have little trouble finding new employment, since the liberal media networks like CNN and MSNBC are probably already chomping at the bit to hire her for legal analysis and rabid Trump criticism.
Grandstanding for your liberal friends is a resume enhancer for those networks.
She should never be allowed to work in any administration ever again, however. The Justice Department was heavily infected with individuals playing politics and undermining the institution during the Obama years, something you simply can’t have when expecting to find law and order.
President Trump is cleaning out that infection rather swiftly.

An Executive Order is like a law. The Executive Order had alreadty been sustained by the courts.
She was acting unlawfully in her disobedience and insubordination of a lawful Executive Order, a pretty despicable act for a lawyer.
President Trump needs to get rid of all those indoctrinated obama appointees. Congress needs to get to work and approve or disapprove Trump’s selections so this administration can get to work. They are nothing but, I was going to say children, anti-Americans. To all those liberals, this is America. Get it in your thick communist skulls, we are the United States of America.
Firing her without invoking the sedition act was a demonstration of Pres. Trump´s altruism.
If Yates doen´t stop her blatant “insubordination”, she will qualify for the charge of sedition and may be charged.

She is not brave, she is not a hero…only an Obama plant. The writing was on the wall since she fundamentally disagrees with Pres. Trump. Better now that later. IF she disagreed, there were many other ways to go about her disagreement than to attempt to block a Presidential order. She really showed her stupidity. She could have asked for some time with Trump and present her case from an objective point of view. But no, she had to openly and disrespectively act against the President of the U.S.
She deserves to be fired and I hope without any benefits. Shame of her and all like her. This country is divided (not because of Trump – he just got here !!!!). It is divided because of the liberal left, the media, and the useless 8 years of Obama.

Firing her is a given, but she should be held to additional penalties for her actions and President Trump needs to direct AG Sessions to comb through the department for additional skunks in the woodpile before they can contaminate the department further. Obama has spent 8 years salting these departments with his own and not all of them are muslims, which would make them easier to find.
Firing her is not nearly enough. There must be some law on the books that she violated and for which she should be arrested, How about treason, Isn’t that what a soldier is charged with if he refuses to follow orders?

Yes she should have been fired and as far as the ban on Refugee’s goes it is only temporary and affecting certain countries. Remember you can thank your Congress for things going this far. Congress has failed or decided to use illegal aliens as voters in the USA and the Democrats are guilty of producing another low way to get the vote. This illegal immigration and Refugee problem should have been dealt with long ago. We can only take so many Refugee’s and immigrants and we must control how many come in every year. We must only let in what our resources can stand and that means economy, jobs, Welfare, Schools and so on. We can’t continue with open borders and pay non citizens to live here. Our tax system is failing because of this, and this is why roads are not being repaired, bridges look and are unsafe and there are no jobs. Sorry but we can’t take the worlds struggling people all into our country. We must provide protection to non combatants in safe zones until they can move back home.
