The latest Rasmussen poll shows that President Trump’s first foreign trip was not only a success over there, but is also popular among Americans, translating to a boost in the President’s approval numbers.
Trump’s numbers have spiked a bit over recent days, jumping four points in the past week.
Those figures still aren’t all that impressive, but a rise shows that the foreign trip is doing Trump some good amid an ongoing, relentless assault by the liberal media over the course of months.

While President Donald Trump continues his first foreign trip as commander in chief, a new poll suggests his time abroad may have been good for his approval among Americans back home.
The president’s approval rating spiked four percentage points this week, jumping from 44 percent on Monday to now 48 percent on Wednesday, according to the latest the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll. The poll also shows Trump with a 52 percent disapproval rating.
Pundits and analysts have noticed the striking difference in how the President has been treated in such countries as Saudi Arabia and Israel, compared to the way he is perpetually abused by press in the United States.
