Theater Owner Has POWERFUL Message For Disney’s New Gay Movie

Children’s entertainment was once the last refuge for family-friendly viewing, but now Disney is destroying all that by adding gay content to its films and television programming.

According to Heat Street, Disney aired its first gay kiss in a cartoon a few days ago. They’ve had gay couples in the shows Good Luck Charlie and Gravity Falls, but Star vs. the Forces of Evil had the first gay PDA moment in children’s television in a scene that shows couples kissing to music at a concert.

And now comes the news that the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast will feature a gay character! Director Bill Condon told the gay publication Attitude, “LeFou is somebody who on one day wants to be Gaston and on another day wants to kiss Gaston. He’s confused about what he wants. It’s somebody who’s just realizing that he has these feelings. And Josh [Gad, who plays LeFou] makes something really subtle and delicious out of it. And that’s what has its payoff at the end, which I don’t want to give away. But it is a nice, exclusively gay moment in a Disney movie.”

No! There should be no “exclusively gay” moments in Disney movies, they should all be inclusively wholesome!

For his part, Gad was a little more coy about his character LeFou, saying, “For me, it was important to add some dimension to him, to give him some pathos, to give him some heart, and there’s a moment at the end of the movie that’s very subtle, but that I’m very proud of, and I’ll let it speak for itself.”

In response, at least one theater has announced that it won’t screen the movie because of the gay propaganda. The Henagar Drive-In Theater in Alabama posted this message on Facebook about their decision:

It is with great sorrow that I have to tell our customers that we will not be showing Beauty and the Beast at the Henagar Drive-In when it comes out. When companies continually force their views on us we need to take a stand. We all make choices and I am making mine. For those that do not know Beauty and the Beast is “premiering” their first homosexual character. The producer also says at the end of the movie “there will be a surprise for same-sex couples”. If we can not take our 11 year old grand daughter and 8 year old grandson to see a movie we have no business watching it. If I can’t sit through a movie with God or Jesus sitting by me then we have no business showing it. I know there will be some that do not agree with this decision. That’s fine. We are first and foremost Christians. We will not compromise on what the Bible teaches. We will continue to show family oriented films so you can feel free to come watch wholesome movies without worrying about sex, nudity, homosexuality and foul language. Thank you for your support!

AMEN! It is beyond time we take a stand against companies like Disney that continually force their views on us. (Predictably, the liberal LGBT reaction to the Alabama theater was swift and hate-filled.) I respect these theater owners for standing by their faith and values against Hollywood and the ways of the world. It has become almost impossible to watch any movie or tv show that doesn’t have sex, nudity, homosexuality or foul language. I think we’ve now reached the point where to watch anything wholesome and family oriented we have to abandon hope in finding any of that in new films and instead go back to the old classics.

The gay agenda has so permeated our culture that most Americans greatly overestimate the number of gay people in this country. Most think over 20 percent of the population is gay (and a third of Americans think it’s over 25 percent), when really less than 4 percent of people are gay or bi. If Disney were smart they wouldn’t offend a majority of people by pushing homosexuality on impressionable young children.

Leftist LGBT activists have been pushing for their agenda in Disney movies for years now. They’ve called for Disney Princess Elsa from Frozen to have a girlfriend in the upcoming sequel as well as for gay superheroes and Star Wars characters in Disney’s Marvel and Lucas Films divisions.

The Disney-Pixar movie Finding Dory had a similar controversy last year when gay activists thought there was a lesbian couple written into the film and lesbian actress Ellen DeGeneres talked about one of the stingray characters being transgender.

Disney-own network channel ABC also had a week long “television event” that was pretty much 4 nights and 8 hours of gay propaganda last week. When We Rise told the story of the last 50 years of the gay rights movement in America. The ratings were abysmal and that should be a warning to the Disney Corporation that continuing to push LGBT storylines on audiences is a big loser for their bottom line.

I want to get more information about the scene in question before I decide if I will see the new version of Beauty and the Beast or not. I need to know if it is overt, in-your-face propaganda or something so subtle it’s subject to interpretation. I’m really hoping it’s the latter and this is all being blown way out of proportion as a publicity stunt and already there are some indications this is the case.

Condon told USA Today the reaction was “overblown.” He said, “My message is: This is a movie for everyone. I’m sad about that theater but there are 4,000 theaters showing the movie. I hope everybody moves past that and just goes to take pleasure in what we made.” If this truly is a movie for everyone, then it won’t have a divisive, explicitly gay moment.

We’ll have to wait until the premiere on March 17th to find out – somebody send me spoilers, please!
