Stevie Wonder and Beyonce Use Hurricane Benefit Concert to Push Climate Change Agenda

As another major hurricane barrels towards the United States, celebrities and other organizations have gotten togther to to raise money for victims of these storms. After Hurrianes Irma and Harvey, there was a huge hurricane relief benefit concert broadcast live on 15 networks and, like the last time there was a hurricane telethon in 2005 (AHEM, looking at you Kanye), some celebrities had to make it all about themselves and their leftist views.

Stevie Wonder opened the “Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief Telethon” with some lovely, feel-good sentiments that went off track within seconds. He started by saying,
“We’ve come together today to love on the people that have been devastated by the hurricanes. When love goes into action, it preferences no color of skin, no ethnicity, no religious beliefs, no sexual preferences, and no political persuasions. It just loves…”

Beautiful sentiment, right? Who could disagree with that?

But then came the propaganda: “As we should begin to love and value our planet, and anyone who believes that there is no such thing as global warming must be blind or unintelligent. Lord, please save us all.”

But what about all that love preferring “no political persuasions” talk?! How quickly Wonder’s rhetoric turned to hate and insults, although I’m not quite sure what to make of a blind man calling others blind.

One thing I really want an answer to from climate change alarmists is this: If this year’s big hurricane season is supposed to be evidence of global warming, how do they explain the previous 12 years without a major hurricane making landfall in the U.S.?

The fundraiser continued smoothly with performances and celebrities answering phone calls until about 15 minutes later when Beyoncé came on in a pre-taped segment. The police-hating, Obama-loving singer immediately played the race card, saying “During the time where it’s impossible to watch the news without seeing violence or racism in this country, just when you think it couldn’t possibly get worse, natural disasters take precious life, do massive damage, and forever change lives…”

Yeah, well, if all you’re looking for is racism, then you’ll find it everywhere. Luckily, the good people of Texas and Florida coming together has restored Beyoncé’s “faith in humanity.” She said, “Natural disasters don’t discriminate. They don’t see if you’re an immigrant, black or white, Hispanic or Asian, Jewish or Muslim, wealthy or poor…Seeing everyone of different racial, social, and religious backgrounds put their own lives at risk to help each other survive restored my faith in humanity.”

Funny how she doesn’t mention the hatred pouring out of the left for the last month, including liberals saying the hurricanes are punishment for Trump or leftist cartoonists mocking conservative Texans for supposedly being hypocritical.

And then, of course, Beyoncé brought up the leftist climate cause formerly known as global warming: “The effects of climate change are playing out around the world every day. Just this past week, we’ve seen devastation from the monsoon in India and 8.1 earthquake in Mexico, and multiple catastrophic hurricanes.”

Oh, yeah? Climate change causes earthquakes now? That’s a new one! Are we just attributing anything bad that happened in the last week to global warming? Can I also blame it for the New England Patriots’ stunning loss in their season opener?

But let’s not let that bit of nastiness during the concert overshadow everyone else who contributed to a great cause. The fundraiser was a success, raising over $15 million in an hour and a half, with donations continuing to be accepted.
