Jorge Ramos and Sean Hannity Duel Over Trump Immigration Orders

Univision’s Jorge Ramos, a Mexican-born American journalist, recently denounced the Trump administration’s efforts to secure America’s borders saying “I just don’t recognize this country anymore.”

It may come as a surprise to Mr. Ramos that most Americans haven’t recognized their own country for some time, having recently endured eight years of open borders and lawlessness.

Ramos took his vitriol on the Sean Hannity show and was immediately destroyed by the conservative host.

“You say, ‘This isn’t the America I know.’ Well, what America do you know?” Hannity asked. “Where people break the law? That people don’t respect American sovereignty? That Americans – some of them – lose their children, just because you define compassion as open borders?”

“Here’s the reality,” Hannity added. “You are willing to gamble with the lives of Americans and not vet them (refugees and immigrants). Do you really care about your fellow Americans at all?”

Via Real Clear Politics:

“The American taxpayer pays trillions of dollars for illegal immigrants that did not respect our laws and sovereignty to send their kids to school,” the FOX News host said. “We have spent trillions of dollars over the years as it relates to justice system and our health care system.”

Ramos has been perpetually parroting the talking points of the left, discussing Trump’s travel ban on those entering the country from terrorist hotbeds, but never mentioning that the ban would be temporary until we can institute extreme vetting.

Additionally, Ramos has called Trump “the loudest voice of intolerance, division, and hatred right now in America,” while suggesting that his efforts to secure America might actually incite violence.

For his part, the President isn’t exactly a big fan of Ramos or his network either. Check out this report on Univision being thrown out of a Trump campaign event just days after Ramos himself was thrown out of an event.
