Fox News’ Sean Hannity Losing Advertisers After Covering Seth Rich Murder

On Tuesday night, Fox News’ Sean Hannity took to the airwaves to inform his loyal audience that he would temporarily stop reporting on the murder of former DNC staffer Seth Rich out of respect for Rich’s family.

Some have speculated that Hannity’s decision came following pressure from one of Rupert Murdoch’s sons, but nonetheless, Fox has pulled back from its reporting on Rich’s mysterious death.

Hannity has been one of the few individuals with the guts to cover the Rich murder, and ask questions about the incredibly strange situation.

Now, it appears as though Sean Hannity’s repeated discussion of Rich’s murder has had serious consequences, as the Fox News host has lost several advertisers.

And of course, look at the liberal media’s biased reporting. Remember, these are the same people who have been breathlessly reporting the ridiculous conspiracy theory that Russia “hacked” the election and that Donald Trump of all people is a “puppet” of Vladimir Putin.

From The Hill:

Seven advertisers have now reportedly pulled their ads from Sean Hannity’s television program after the Fox News host continued to push a debunked conspiracy about a slain Democratic National Committee staffer even though the victim’s family asked him to stop.

Hannity lost his first advertiser, Cars.com, on Wednesday. Others quickly followed suit, according to ThinkProgress, including Peloton, Leesa Sleep, Casper, USAA, Ring, and Crowne Plaza Hotels. Liberal group Media Matters posted a list of Hannity’s advertisers on Tuesday in an attempt to encourage more advertisers to drop the show.

Hannity has called the effort a “kill shot” similar to calls for boycotts against former fellow Fox host Bill O’Reilly.

“They’ll try to ratchet up the intensity of their rationale. It does not justify an attempt to get me fired. And that’s what this is. This is an attempt to take me out. This is a kill shot,” he said.

Notice how the liberal media pretends that the Rich murder has been solved? In reality, it’s an open case and police have provided no leads.

At the same time, the last few months have been extremely challenging for Fox News, and ever since the network fired longtime host Bill O’Reilly, the network has fallen to third place in the ratings, behind CNN and MSNBC.

Hannity has taken to Twitter in recent hours to blast the coordinated left-wing attack designed to drive advertisers away from his show.

Hannity has been with Fox News for nearly 20 years, and it would be a shame if the network caved to liberal pressure and abandoned one of the most popular conservative voices on the network. The left was able to pressure advertisers to leave Bill O’Reilly’s show, which likely lead to him being fired from the network, and the same left-wing groups are hoping Hannity receives the same fate.

Hannity is a strong conservative, and the left is doing anything it can to silence all conservative voices on cable news. They won’t stop until Fox News wipes out all of its conservative voices from its airwaves.
