White House Communications Director Scaramucci Fires Suspected Leaker Michael Short

Well, that didn’t take long.

Just 24 hours after taking the job as White House Communications Director, Anthony Scaramucci is already clearing house.

For months, leaks to the press have undermined Donald Trump’s presidency. But now, that all might stop thanks to Scaramucci. Today, he fired assistant press secretary Michael Short, an ally of former Press Secretary Sean Spicer, and someone who is suspected of leaking crucial information to the press.

This is a huge step towards a better, more secure White House. If Short was indeed the leaker, he deserves his pink slip. And he deserves never to be hired in Washington ever again.

Via Politico:

Scaramucci confirmed to POLITICO early Tuesday that he planned to start by dismissing assistant press secretary Michael Short at a morning meeting, but that move was apparently delayed.

Short, who initially said Tuesday that he hadn’t yet been informed of any decision, resigned Tuesday afternoon.

BOOM! Let that be a lesson to any more would-be leakers.

President Trump has a hard enough time passing his agenda with the Democrats refusing to help and the media trying to initiate an impeachment. The leaks need to stop immediately. This is a great first move toward making that happen!
