This Cartoon Blows Liberals’ Concept Of Safe Spaces Out Of The Water

We’ve gone from safe space to safe people.

Liberals have taken to wearing safety pins to express solidarity with minorities who will supposedly be abused under President Trump. Their message is, “You are safe with me. I stand beside you.”

But as this cartoon points out, the real safe space comes from our founding documents.

The United States Constitution enshrines the freedom, rights, and protections from government for every single American citizen. It is the mechanism by which we ensure the ideals of the Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Sadly, many liberals don’t understand or appreciate our founding documents, as evidenced by University of Virginia students being offended by their founder Thomas Jefferson being quoted (see video below) and by the recent call for getting rid of the Electoral College.

While they denigrate our Founders, little do they know how much the system of government they created protects the minority from the tyranny of the majority they are so worried about. They don’t appreciate the amazing freedoms we have in this country, yet they benefit from them every day.

The U.S. Constitution: the ultimate safe space.
