On Wednesday, it was reported that President Donald J. Trump would pull the United States out of the controversial Paris “global warming” agreement, a move that should provide much-needed relief to the American economy.
The deal, which was not approved by Congress, would impose massive regulations on the U.S. economy, all while caving into global warming alarmists in Europe.
During the 2016 campaign, Trump frequently attacked the global warming deal negotiated by Barack Obama, and pulling out of the deal would fulfill a major campaign promise by the president.
While Trump is expected to formally announce his decision Thursday afternoon, conservative hero Rush Limbaugh broke down exactly why this move is necessary and why liberals are wrong.
This is why we can’t give up our sovereignty in unconstitutional globalist schemes:
Trump must actively take us out. The pressure on him has got to be intense. But to me, this is a no-brainer. Mr. President, if you don’t take us out of this, there is no way you can make America great again,” Limbaugh said. “America cannot be great in the ways you define it and the ways you have targeted for rebirth and remaking.
You can’t do it if we’re signatories to this thing because we become the targets,” he continued. “We become the blame. We become the source of the problem. We must bear the burden, financial, economic, of supposedly addressing this nonexistent issue: Man-made planetary destruction. Don’t forget. It’s not even man-made climate change. What they’re trying to tell everybody is we’re destroying the planet, folks, and they sadly convinced a whole bunch of young people it’s actually in progress and happening. Just take us out! If you want to make America great again, you can’t do it with the United States maintaining its current position in the Paris Accord.

It is well-known that several individuals within the White House, including Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, and Rex Tillerson have been pressuring the president to keep the Paris deal in place, but President Trump should not cave into their liberal demands.
Rush is exactly right on this, and it’s important for more than just the economy. It’s about our sovereignty and our right as Americans to control our own government. Americans should never be under the thumb of weak, left-wing foreigners, and implementing the global warming scam will hand over the keys of the American economy to foreign interests.
President Trump’s campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again,” cannot be fulfilled if we do not control our own destiny. The President realizes the promise he made to the American people, which is why he has reportedly decided to reject the climate alarmism deal, and instead focus on rebuilding the American economy.
