Over the past week, Democrats and the entire liberal media have been up in arms after President Trump fired FBI Director James Comey for incompetence.
Since Comey’s firing, the New York Times alleged to have obtained a memo from the former FBI Director which described a conversation in which the President said he hoped Comey could let the investigation into Michael Flynn’s alleged Russia ties “go.”
No evidence that any memo exists or provides any factual claims exist.
While the left is freaking out over Comey’s memo, conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh figured out what’s really going on here.
President Trump is being attacked for doing the exact thing Obama once did, with one exception: what Obama did was much, much worse.

In fact, the Obama situation is actually worse. While Trump indicated he didn’t want Flynn charged, he did not order the case dropped, because it’s still going on. Trump indicated that he wanted Flynn not to be charged, but he did not order the case to be dropped. And the case continues. Grand juries have been impaneled now. In contrast, the FBI and the Department of Justice dropped the Hillary investigation just as Obama wanted them to, and they used exactly the rationales Obama used when he made his public statements.
Well, Obama, was saying there was no intent to harm the U.S., the degree of classified emails that Mrs. Clinton was trafficking in is very exaggerated. Obama went public with all this! He went public with his own exoneration and thought that the investigation should be brought to a screeching halt. And it was! Comey got together and they stopped the investigation, and that allowed them and Hillary — for the rest of the campaign — to say she had been cleared. That’s why they got so mad at Comey when he did the July 5th press conference, because back in April, Obama thought he’d taken care of this.

Obama used the public arena to personally claim that the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s illegal private email server was unjust, which to the average American looks a lot like obstruction of justice. Trump’s comments were made in a private setting, whereas Obama openly criticized the ongoing FBI investigation, yet Democrats never once accused the president of obstructing justice.
Furthermore, Limbaugh is 100% correct when he points out that Obama and Hillary were furious with Comey’s July 2016 press conference, as they thought their public pressure of the FBI Director would have ended any investigation of Hillary months earlier.

If the left had any decency, they should have demanded an investigation into Obama’s public comments about the ongoing FBI investigation into Hillary’s illegal email server. Instead, they whined that the investigation occurred at all, yet many of them are calling for the impeachment of President Trump. Hypocritical indeed.
