Roger Stone ExposesThe Leaker Who Gave The NY Times Don Trump Jr.’s Emails

Roger Stone is a genius political provocateur. I watched a documentary on him just a few short weeks ago and, let me say, it changed my entire perception of him going forward.

When Stone says something, you can best believe that if my head is down, I am picking it up just to see what he just said.

Stone thinks he has the inside track on the identity of the person who leaked Donald Trump Jr.’s emails to the NY Times. Roger has been at this game for a long time. He was part of the Trump team at the beginning. His powers of deduction are extremely acute.

If he is going public with what he knows then he’s thought it through and weighed the consequences.

Speaking to a gathering at the Capitol Hill Club for Young Republicans, Stone was asked if he knew anything about the Trump Jr. email controversy, which started taking command of headlines over the weekend after the Times first reported on the meeting.

According to Independent Journal Review, someone from American Bridge, a Democratic opposition research group, repeatedly pressed Stone on his knowledge of the leaker. Stone at first said he did know who it was, but was hesitant to reveal a name.

After saying he would not say who it was, Stone finally conceded, “Their initials are J.K.”

IJR notes there are at least three high-level officials in the Trump administration with those initials: Jared Kushner, son-in-law to President Trump; Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly; and Jeremy Katz, a deputy assistant to the president.

Kushner was in attendance at the meeting, which took place in June 2016, along with Trump Jr., former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, and the Russian attorney, Natalia Veselnitskaya.

There is a huge problem with leaking within the Trump Administration and this sort of makes sense if you choose the name I am thinking about. Only one person was part of the crew that visited the Russian lawyer. Only one person is married to the daughter of the President.

But, Stone might be onto to something here and hopefully the truth comes out before anyone gets hurt politically.
