Sex Pistols lead man and punk rock icon Johnny Rotten is speaking out in support of Donald Trump, saying he likes the President because “he terrifies politicians,” something he finds a “joy to behold.”
Rotten, whose real name is John Lynch, appeared on the Good Morning Britain show to discuss Trump, a man he describes as “a complicated fellow.”
“As one journalist once said to me is he the political sex pistol,” Rotten explained.
And while the punk rocker noted Trump has flaws as a human being, the way the media has tried smearing him is reprehensible.
Rotten said he despises “the left wing media in America… trying to smear the bloke as a racist, and that’s just not true.”

The Sex Pistols and Donald Trump have a lot in common, according to Johnny Rotten.
Rotten, whose real name is John Lydon, defended the president against the “left-wing media in America are trying to smear” Trump.
“The Donald. He’s a complicated fellow,” the rocker said on “Good Morning Britain” Monday. “As one journalist once said to me, is he the political sex pistol?”
Rotten, who holds American citizenship, agrees Trump shares the Sex Pistol’s anti-establishment qualities.
“There’s many, many problems with him as a human being but he’s not [racist] and there just might be a chance something good will come out of that situation because he terrifies politicians,” Rotten shared. “This is joy to behold for me. Dare I say, [he could be] a possible friend.”
You know President Trump has really turned the political world on its heels when conservatism and the lead singer of the anti-establishment punk rock band known as the Sex Pistols, the band that brought us “Anarchy in the UK,” have aligned to battle the scourge of liberalism here and abroad.
