On Saturday night, President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden dined at the Fiola Mare restaurant in Washington, DC and video shows that neither were wearing a mask thus violating the city’s face mask mandate.
This is a violation Washington, DC’s current face mask mandate which went into effect July 31. It states that citizens should wear masks indoors even if they are vaccinated to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The Bidens Appear To Have No Regard Washington’s DC’s Mask Mandate
In the video taken on Saturday at the restaurant, both the president and his wife can clearly be seen walking around indoors without masks.
The DC mask mandate language reads, “This guidance presents recommendations that the general public should follow for wearing face masks (or cloth face coverings) to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, and it also provides the rules that must be followed for masking indoors, even for fully vaccinated persons.”

Masks Must Be Worn Indoors
“This includes any business or establishment open to members of the public (including but not limited to: grocery stores, restaurants and bars (when not eating or drinking), places of worship, gyms, office buildings, libraries, indoor entertainment venues,” the mandate states.
The restaurant’s website also features a statement about complying with the city’s mandate.
“Per CDC guidance and DC Mayor Muriel Bowser’s executive order, all individuals over age 2 are required to wear a mask indoors, regardless of vaccination status,” the Fiola Mare website reads. “Masks must be always worn while in our restaurants, except while eating and drinking. Thank you for understanding.”
