North Korea rejected a unanimously adopted resolution to impose sanctions against the nation, and vowed to deliver America its “greatest pain.”
The U.N. voted to impose sanctions on Monday in the wake of a recent nuclear weapons test, implementing a ban on the country’s textile exports and limiting imports of crude oil.
The move also sought to freeze assets on the Kim Jong-un regime and would amount to an overall 90% ban on all exports from the rogue nation.
U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley celebrated the move on social media.

North Korea rejected the sanctions, calling them “illegal and lawful.”
“My delegation condemns in the strongest terms and categorically rejects the latest illegal and unlawful U.N. Security Council resolution,” Han Tae Song an ambassador to Pyongyang declared.
Han went a step further, announcing that the nation was prepared “to use a form of ultimate means.”
“The forthcoming measures by DPRK will make the U.S. suffer the greatest pain it ever experienced in its history,” he seethed.
Is Mr. T writing the speeches for North Korea these days? ‘Greatest pain?’
In August, the Kim Jong-un regime appeared to have backed down after President Trump and Defense Secretary James Mattis issued warnings to tone done their rhetoric and actions.
Military solutions are now fully in place, locked and loaded, should North Korea act unwisely. Hopefully Kim Jong Un will find another path!

Mattis warned North Korea against their aggressive statements regarding the island territory of Guam
He warned that the firing of missiles towards any U.S. territory would amount to “game on,” and “could escalate into war very quickly.”
The Kim Jong-un regime announced they were backing down on the plan to fire missiles towards Guam, but promised “if the Yankees persist in their extremely dangerous reckless actions on the Korean peninsula and in its vicinity … the latter will make an important decision as it already declared.”
Trump, while pleased with the aforementioned sanctions, presciently predicted more action would need to be taken down the line.

“It was nice to get a 15-to-nothing vote,” he said adding, “we think it’s just another very small step.”
“But those sanctions are nothing compared to what will ultimately have to happen,” Trump said.
