Legendary Cleveland Browns running back Jim Brown was a Hillary Clinton supporter in 2016. But after meeting with Preisdent-elect Donald Trump this week, the NFL legend said he “fell in love with him.”
In the meeting to discuss problems in black communities, Trump and Brown were joined by Ray Lewis and explained exactly how much he was impressed with him. Brown noted that Trump didn’t hold grudges and “listens to people” who staunchly opposed him.
Jim Brown was amazed at how Trump “held no grudges” and listens to ppl who opposed him so vigorously. That’s how you win people over, folks.

This is amazing!
“When he goes through what he went through to become the president, he got my admiration,” Brown said. “No one gave him a chance.”
For decades, Brown has been an activist, particularly for minorities and the inner-cities, and his Amer-I-Can program is designed to “empower individuals to take charge of their lives and achieve their full potential,” the group says.
A 1971 inductee into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and eight-time NFL rushing leader, Brown is well known for his work in the African-American community. However, as the subject turned to race on Tuesday, he revealed some lesser-known details to Baldwin and her viewers.
“The three greatest people in my life were white, OK. My high school coach, my high school superintendent and my mentor in Manhasset, Long Island,” he said.
As Brown later explained to Fox News’ Sean Hannity:
The President-elect has already said he’s in. We made a presentation to him about economic development in the black community, about families, about the state of our black communities in this discussion. And he realizes that with the education and the attack on the violence that takes place that we can then get on the right track…. He is not a phony.
This is how Trump wins support from non-traditional places. Trump is confident enough in his bold agenda to be able to have discussions with Democrats and minorities. This is what real leadership looks like.
