Nancy Pelosi Botches Name of Hamilton Creator Lin-Manuel Miranda

The Pelosi bot malfunctioned again.

House Democrat Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was at it again with her verbal flubs, this time slurring her words during a speech honoring the U.S. Capitol Historical Society 2017 Freedom Award winner.

The 77-year-old congresswoman was trying to praise the man who created and starred in the historical hip-hop Broadway musical “Hamilton.” His name is Lin-Manuel Miranda. Try saying that 5 times fast. Pelosi can’t. She struggles to say it correctly even once!

Miranda – a leftist himself – and his play are especially beloved by liberals. As you’ll recall, the cast of Hamilton attempted to lecture Vice President Pence from the stage and the audience booed him when he went to see the show on Broadway last year, earning rebukes from President Trump. So it was only natural that Pelosi would be singing his praises.

What was unnatural was her speech, which is becoming a more regular problem. Pelosi is losing it – from thinking that Bush is still president to mispronouncing basic words.

Watch this hilarious video put together by The American Mirror of all the times Pelosi tried and failed to pronounce Lin-Manuel Miranda’s name correctly. (The best one is when she calls him “Madonna!”)

I think she’s broken. I think it’s past time Democrats traded the Pelosi bot in for a newer model.
