A prank caller pretending to be a “sergeant” fooled MSNBC’s “The Cycle” on Thursday, calling into the program to report that it appeared that Malaysian Flight MH17 was “shot down by a blast of wind from Howard Stern’s ass.”
During the “eyewitness exclusive,” co-host Krystal Ball (Yes, that is her real name!) apparently didn’t immediately realize that she was dealing with a prankster as she went on to ask the caller about his “military training.” The MSNBC producers didn’t cut off the caller either.
So, it would appear that the plane was shot down. Can you tell us more from your military training of what sort of missile system that may have been coming from.
The caller replied:
Well, you’re a dumbass aren’t you.
Ball politely replies:
I’m sorry, sir?
Hilariously, this YouTube clip will be viewed more times today than the actual MSNBC network.

Krystal Ball clear has no idea what a real answer would sound like. The guy could have literally said anything and she would have gone along

I feel bad for Krystal Ball, but didn't the MSNBC producer think it was weird that a U.S. St. Sgt. was in Ukraine to witness the missile?
