Kayleigh McEnany Tells People To Get Vaccinated For Their Grandparents – ‘Do It For Them’

Kayleigh McEnany

Former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany urged Fox News viewers to get the COVID-19 vaccine, saying that she trusts the vaccine development process. She also said that she feels that the vaccine is effective when it comes to preventing and transmitting coronavirus.

McEnany Discusses COVID Vaccine

“Like Congressman Steve Scalise, I had COVID-19,” McEnany said while appearing on Fox News. “Even though I was asymptomatic, I went and got the vaccine for a few reasons. Well first, let me say as I mentioned yesterday, I saw President Trump oversee this process. He appointed Dr. Stephen Hahn at the FDA, who approved this vaccine. He appointed Robert Redfield at the CDC.”

“I got the vaccine because one, it could keep you from getting a variant,” she added. “Number two, even if you get a variant, you’re 95 percent less likely to be hospitalized. Our elderly, our most vulnerable … More important than any of that is it reduces your risk of transmitting the virus; so if you have a grandmother or a grandfather or a parent, do it for them, if not for yourself, even if you’re a young person.”

Sean Hannity Endorses Vaccine

Despite what the liberal media has been saying, other Fox News hosts have been urging their fans to get vaccinated as well.

“Just like we’ve been saying, please take COVID seriously,” Sean Hannity said on his show on Monday night. “I can’t say it enough. Enough people have died. We don’t need any more death.”

He then told his fans to “research like crazy” when coming to a decision on the vaccine.

“Take it seriously. You also have a right to medical privacy, and doctor-patient confidentiality is also important,” he said. “And it absolutely makes sense for many Americans to get vaccinated. I believe in science. I believe in the science of vaccination.”

This was not enough for “The View’s” liberal cohost Sunny Hostin, however, as she still trashed Hannity for taking too long in her mind to endorse the vaccine.

“It only took Sean Hannity over 600,000 deaths to get on board and advise his many, many millions of viewers to finally get vaccinated,” she whined, according to Yahoo News. “I think it’s too little, too late.”
