Hillary Claims Sexism, Not Russia, Made Her Lose Election

Hillary Clinton made an appearance at Wellesley College, finally admitting she lost the 2016 election because she was a flawed establishment candidate, had little to offer that differed from the previous flawed president, and had a provable history of corruption and telling lies.

And if you believe that, we’ve got some real estate in Florida we’d like to sell you.

No, instead Clinton got to the bottom of why she truly lost the election – sexist Americans, of course!

Via the Daily Mail:

Three months after losing to Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton is still struggling to come to terms with her defeat but at least she can laugh about it now.

She was invited to her alma mater, Wellesley College, last night and when asked by a sophomore: ‘What would you change about your campaign?’ she quipped: ‘I’d win.’

But she then went on to play the blame game, suggesting she only lost because she was a woman.

When asked about the difficulties in running for office, Clinton said ‘You know you’re going to be subject to unfair and beside-the-point criticism.’

Because Donald Trump wasn’t subject to unfair criticism during his campaign. Mitt Romney never had to suffer for ridiculous criticism of comments like “binders full of women” or his “47%” video. Come to think of it, one has to wonder if she felt Sarah Palin got a bad deal in 2008 just because she is a woman.

What about Kellyanne Conway? She is subject to unfair criticism and still managed to shatter her own glass ceiling by becoming the first woman to successfully run a presidential campaign.

At Wellesley, the topic of the night for Clinton was ‘Women’s leadership and opportunities,’ making it odd that she would whine about being a woman as the reason for losing the presidency. That’s not leadership.

According to the Daily Mail report, Clinton “claimed she was the victim of sexist treatment during the election campaign.”

Heather Wilhelm of the National Review wrote shortly after the election that “Sexism obviously exists, but to attribute Clinton’s loss to it is absurd.”

“Hillary Clinton lost,” she added, “because she’s Hillary Clinton.”

Still, when all was said and done, the women at Wellesley and Hillary got to share and revel in one victory:

That’s a nice participation trophy and all, but how could she have won the popular vote if everyone is sexist? It had to be asked.
