Hillary Clinton Calls Trump and His Supporters Racist For Defending National Anthem

A bitter Hillary Clinton, clinging to the last vestiges of her own self-esteem and self-worth, railed against President Trump’s comments regarding NFL players and their disrespectful treatment of the national anthem.

While others have made insinuations, Clinton draws a direct line between Trump’s comments and flat-out racism.

At a recent rally, Trump said “Wouldn’t you love to see one of the NFL owners, when someone disrespects our flag, to say ‘get that son of b**** off the field right now! Out! He’s fired! He’s fired!”

Clinton was outraged.

“He attacks black athletes as he did starting with his rally in Alabama,” she said. “Continued on Twitter. He attacks them for protesting peacefully for equality, for standing up for what they believe.”

Yes, because the problem isn’t anybody who denigrates the anthem or the American flag, it’s simply because they’re black. When the entire Pittsburgh Steelers football team cowered in the locker room in protesting the national anthem, it didn’t matter which players were black or white – they were all spitting on the nation together.

Clinton continued.

“It’s quite telling that he is willing to attack black athletes,” she claimed. “He never says anything of an insulting manner towards white supremacists or neo-nazis or Ku klux Klan-ers or Vladimir Putin, right?”

What’s quite telling is the inclusion of Putin in that comment – an indication that Hillary is still bitter over the election. That she still believes Putin is one of the many reasons she lost. And when she says ‘right?’ at the end, it is a desperate woman looking for validation from a friendly face at MSNBC.

It truly is sad.

Echoing her ‘basket of deplorables’ comment that helped sink her campaign, Clinton added that Trump’s racist remarks were a “dog whistle to his base.”

How is that comment any different from what ESPN anchor Jemele Hill recently said?

It isn’t any different. Come to think of it, bitter Hillary would probably fit right in over at ESPN.

She’s simply reiterating what we already knew she believes – Trump supporters, at least half of them, are racists. It’s the same sentiment in which she said half of all Trump fans belong in a ‘basket of deplorables.’

People who are “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic – you name it.”

Additionally, Clinton would be wise to heed the old adage that those in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. She did, after all, once call black gang members “super-predators.”

Was that a dog whistle to her base?
