Ex-Spy Behind Anti-Trump Dossier Admits Information is Unverified

Bad news liberals.

The former British spy behind the fake 35-page dossier purporting to provide evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia has admitted he used unverified “raw intelligence.”

This is an astonishing development because that same dossier was used by the Obama administration and the FBI to cite probable cause in their effort to spy on the Trump campaign.

It’s becoming readily apparent that the Trump-Russia collusion story should really be about the Obama-FBI spying story.

Via the Washington Times:

Christopher Steele, the former British spy who wrote the infamous anti-Donald Trump dossier, acknowledges that a sensational charge his sources made about a tech company CEO and Democratic Party hacking is unverified.

In a court filing, Mr. Steele also says his accusations against the president and his aides about a supposed Russian hacking conspiracy were never supposed to be made public, much less posted in full on a website for the world to see on Jan. 10.

He defends himself by saying he was betrayed by his client and that he followed proper internal channels by giving the dossier to Sen. John McCain, Arizona Republican, to alert the U.S. government.

In early January, BuzzFeed dropped a fake news story involving the President-elect and reprehensible acts with prostitutes in Russia.

The unverified dossier used for the report was passed over by nearly every journalist in the business because none of the ridiculous claims had any merit and the source was unverified. Buzzfeed and CNN were roundly criticized for reporting on it.

Steele admits that a portion of the dossier came from “unsolicited intelligence” and “raw intelligence” that “needed to be analyzed and further investigated/verified.”

So the FBI somehow managed to use a document that hadn’t been verified as a way to spy on American citizens, more specifically, Obama’s political opponents? Didn’t Democrats claim President Trump was “paranoid” for claiming Obama spied on his campaign? Isn’t this what all that Nixon stuff was about?

Facts be damned when it comes to the Democrat Party.

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-La La Land) even went so far as to push her theory that some of the most salacious allegations against the President appearing in the phony “Russian dossier” were “absolutely true.”

Now the entire document seems to be falling apart. The FBI and the Obama administration needs to answer questions as to how a widely discredited document was used as a means for surveillance on a private citizen.
