Dana Perino And Harris Faulkner Get Their Own Fox News Shows

Big news for America’s premier conservative network today. Not only is Bill O’Reilly returning to Fox tonight for the first since his firing, but the network announced two brand news shows.

And here’s the best part: These new shows will feature two of Fox’s biggest stars, Dana Perino and Harris Faulkner!

This is wonderful news. Perino is always a firecracker on “The Five.” Her keen insights, and her ability to pick out leftist hypocrisy is second-to-none. I guess being a press secretary under a Republican president teaches you to be extra critical of the media.

Harris Faulkner has been a unique voice on Fox for a long time, appearing on Outnumbered and a variety of other shows. It will be exciting to see her have her own show during the network’s afternoon lineup.

In addition to these new shows, host Sandra Smith will permanently join Bill Hemmer for the 9 a.m. show America’s Newsroom.

Jay Wallace, the president of news for Fox News, said this in a statement: “Harris, Dana and Sandra are rising stars and their combined background and expertise across news, business and politics will enable us to provide a more in-depth look at the major stories breaking out of Washington, and around the country.”

He wasn’t the only person pleased with this lineup change. Folks on Twitter were also happy with the new announcement:

Fox News has been going through a massive shakeup lately. In the past year, we’ve seen a number of high profile departures from the network. Just recently, Laura Ingraham was given her own evening show. The network appears to be changing its image to adapt for the changing news industry.
