CNN Ratings Hit Lowest EVER

It hasn’t been great for CNN ratings since the election of President Donald Trump.

They were immediately branded “fake news” by the then-President-elect, and later “very fake news” once he officially had the title of “President.” They responded by kicking the fake news coverage into overdrive, pushing the “Trump/Russia” narrative as if a flight in Malaysia had gone missing.

Then came James O’Keefe’s ongoing reporting on CNN, in which he exposes that a number of producers and commentators admitting on (undercover) video that they acknoledge the Russia story is a “huge nothingburger” (in the words of Van Jones).

But their bad behavior didn’t stop there. CNN freaked out over President Donald Trump posting a funny GIF to his twitter account showing Trump body-slamming CNN. CNN accused him of “inciting violence against journalists,” and covering the story for four days straight, as if anyone actually cared.

And now? Their ratings are in the tank.

Over at The Federalist, Sean Davis noted how CNN’s ratings might not be as solid in prime time, as they’re in a titanic duel…with Nick-at-Nite.

Last week, more Americans tuned in to watch re-runs of “Yogi Bear,” “Full House,” and “Friends” on Nick At Nite than to watch Anderson Cooper and Don Lemon’s shows on CNN.

According to cable ratings from the week of June 26-July 2, CNN’s viewership of its primetime shows was ranked significantly lower than its competitors like Fox News and MSNBC, which place first and second respectively. Clocking in at No. 10 on the list, CNN fell behind HGTV, Nick At Nite, History Channel, and ESPN — the sports network that’s been hemorrhaging viewers for months.

The caption of “OHMYGODOHMYGOD” repeatedly is making a mockery of the following tweet from CNN’s Chris Cillizza, which claimed to show Poland’s First Lady skipping over Trump for a handshake.

Oh – and did I mention the video was cut a second before she actually shook Trump’s hand? So that was fake news too – fake news that the President of Poland himself took the time to call CNN out over.

Is anyone still watching CNN who isn’t in an airport or restaurant?

Not anyone I know.
